Welcome to Kalasrishti School of Performing Arts!
Kalasrishti is dedicated to promoting Bharatnatyam through in-class training and performances. The School encourages students to express and improve their talents while imbibing the essence of this ancient art form. It is aimed at training students with dedication and an inherent desire to learn the art of Bharatnatyam. Emphasis is laid on practice and perfection of technique which allows the student to experience the joy in performing this art and losing oneself in it's beauty and complexity.
Meena Rajagopal, Artistic Director of Kalasrishti started the Raleigh, North Carolina, USA, School in 2001.
Students of Kalasrishti have and continue to perform in Research Triangle Park (RTP) and surrounding areas at various events hosted by local organizations.
